On the day of your visit, you will be warmly welcomed by our front desk staff, who will verify your personal and insurance information. We accept most insurance plans and will be happy to help you with any billing or insurance questions you may have.

Your first visit with us will consist of a comprehensive examination and consultation with our periodontist, Dr. Shelby Nelson. Dr. Nelson has extensive training and experience in periodontal treatment and implant procedures, and she is dedicated to providing you with the best possible care.

Your Examination

During your examination, Dr. Nelson will carefully examine your teeth, gums, and surrounding tissues, and take x-rays or digital scans as needed. Creating Your Treatment Plan

Based on your examination and consultation, Dr. Nelson will go over some effective treatment options for you and create a personalized treatment plan that is tailored to your needs. This may include a range of periodontal procedures, such as scaling and root planing, periodontal surgery, dental implants, gum grafting, or bone grafting. She will explain each step of the treatment process and answer any questions you may have.

You’ll work with our treatment coordinator, Brenda, who will find the best solution for your treatment to help get you on your way to a healthier smile. We don’t think that insurance should dictate what treatments you choose, that’s why we offer convenient payment plans and financing options.

At the end of your first visit, our staff will work with you to schedule any necessary follow-up appointments and answer any remaining questions you may have.
